About
Food, for me, has always been both craft and connection, a balance between precision and atmosphere.
I’m Ben Bucifal, the chef behind Chef Chez Vous. A graduate of the Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts, I hold diplomas in Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts. After my training, I worked and apprenticed in Michelin-recognized restaurants throughout Vancouver, where I learned the importance of discipline, consistency, and the quiet details that define exceptional cooking.
Now at 22, with over six years of professional kitchen experience, I continue to approach my work with a mindset of constant refinement, always learning, always improving. That ongoing commitment to growth shapes the way I cook and the way I serve.
The goal of Chef Chez Vous is to bring that level of care and refinement into your private setting, without the formality of a dining room. By keeping menus intentionally focused, I’m able to give full attention to each course from preparation to presentation ensuring the evening unfolds naturally and effortlessly.
At its core, this isn’t just about serving food.
It’s about creating an atmosphere where you can gather, host confidently, and enjoy the people around your table.
